Charter College Offers Students The Chance to Advance Their Careers in Industrial Maintenance
Reno, NV (February 21, 2014) – Charter College is offering students the opportunity to advance their industrial maintenance careers with certifications focused on specific areas within the industrial sector.
All of Charter College’s programs are career-focused, which means that every course a student takes is associated with the career for which he or she wants to train. Programs are generally shorter, more flexible and less expensive than four-year degrees. Career training that a student receives in a vocational school tends to be hands-on, often taking place in a setting similar to what would be seen in the workplace. Industrial maintenance programs are offered on the Charter campuses located in Lancaster, CA; Anchorage, AK; Pasco, WA; and Vancouver, WA.
An industrial maintenance technician works on industrial machines. They repair, install, adjust, and maintain machinery used in production, processing and manufacturing. They may also work on refinery and pipeline distribution systems.
