Free May 30 Oxnard Dental Clinic for Kids

Charter College Oxnard is partnering with Kids Dental Kare to host a free Dental Clinic for children and teens between the ages of 3 and 16. Parents are invited to bring their kids to the Charter College campus in Oxnard (2000 Outlet Center Dr., Suite 150) on Friday, May 30 between 9:30 and 3:00 p.m. for free dental x-rays and cleanings by Charter College students in the Dental Assisting program, under the supervision of Jerry L. Lanier, DDS of Kids Dental Kare. The first 100 participants will receive free door prizes, and refreshments will be available. 

 

“We’re excited to be able to give back to our community through our dental program,” said Kimberly Thunderbird, Director of Community Outreach for Charter College Oxnard. “And Dr. Lanier is a great partner who has made a career out of helping the children in the community.”

 

The Charter College Certificate in Dental Assisting program takes approximately 10 months to complete. Graduates are prepared for entry-level employment in dental settings with job titles that include Chairside Dental Assistant and Dental X-Ray Technician.
