Pharmacy Tech Program Prepares Students for Growing Career Field

Thanks to the pharmacy technician program offered through Charter College, Seattle area students can earn a certificate in as little as 10 months and launch a new career.

A career in the growing health care field offers great opportunity, too with employment for pharmacy technicians in Fife and Lynnwood expected to grow by 1.3% to 3.4% per year.1,2 Financially, it could be a good move for students to make as well. Pharmacy technicians in Fife earned $42,558 last year, and Lynnwood pharmacy techs earned just over  $42,000 on average.3,4 Nationally, the US Bureau of Labor Statistics identifies Pharmacy Technician as growing at a faster than average rate of over 20% through 2022.5
