Charter College Launches Website for Veterans and Military

There’s good news for student veterans at Charter College - a new Veteran’s Education website to help navigate the minefield of higher education. The new site – military.chartercollege.edu – provides a catalog of online resources for veterans, active-duty service members, and their spouses, and family members that will help students make the transition into civilian life smoother and more enjoyable.

With the drawdown of U.S. forces in Iraq and Afghanistan and more generous financial incentives for veteran’s tuition, housing, and books, more than 1 million veterans and their dependents have enrolled in colleges and universities since 2009, according to the Department of Veterans Affairs.

The new Veteran’s Education website helps veterans find relevant information about the educational benefits available to them so they can figure out the best way to Pay for School and invest in their future. A special scholarship page provides the tools veterans need to quickly and easily search for scholarship opportunities for themselves or their spouses and dependents that can help bridge the gap in tuition funding.

Articles highlighting other student veterans’ back-to-school experiences help new student veterans transition from the military into the higher education environment and a special Career Opportunities section helps veterans connect their military experiences with related civilian careers.

Earning an education is one of the first steps toward launching a bright, new future for today’s veterans. A career-focused education can get you into the workforce faster and with less hassle than traditional education models. Connect with the student veteran community at Charter College through the Veteran’s Education website. Find out more at military.chartercollege.edu!
