Associate of Applied Science Degree in Medical Office Administration: Concentration in Medical Assistant

Those who earn their medical assistant degree can have careers in a wide variety of positions, including: Clinical or Administrative Assistant, Medical Receptionist, Medical Assistant or Medical Office Assistant. The Associate of Applied Science in Medical Office Administration: Concentration in Medical Assistant program prepares students to seek entry-level positions as Medical Assistants. This Medical Assistant program is broken into two phases, the first phase is the Certificate in Medical Assistant program, and the second phase is the medical office administration courses. Prior to advancing to the medical office administration courses, students must complete the Certificate in Medical Assistant program.
