Charter College maintains an educational affiliation with Cisco Systems as a Cisco Networking Academy. This relationship allows Charter to provide web-based content, online assessment, student performance tracking, and hands-on-labs in several Cisco courses.
In addition to offering classroom and web-based content, the
Cisco Networking Academy Program helps to prepare students for
Cisco's industry standard certifications. Students enrolled
in the Bachelor
of Science degree in Information Technology Engineering program
are required to achieve Cisco's associate level certification
known as the Cisco
Certified Networking Associate (CCNA).
In addition to the CCNA, students in this program are instructed
to achieve the next-level of certification: Cisco
Certified Networking Professional (CCNP).
